1.俱利迦羅不動寺 Kurikara-Fudo Temple
日本三不動の一尊といわれる倶利迦羅不動寺の本尊は、718年（養老2年）、元正天皇の勅願によりインドの高僧・善無畏三蔵法師が倶利伽羅山において国家安穏を祈願した折に、不動ヶ池より黒龍が昇天する姿をそのままに刻み奉安したのが始まりで、812年（弘仁3年）には、弘法大師も不動尊を奉安したと伝えられています。 境内は眺望に優れ、八重桜・ツツジ・紅葉など四季折々の自然が心を癒してくれます。
The main image (Buddha) of Kurikara Fudo Temple, which is said to be one of the three Fudos in Japan, was carved and dedicated to the image of a black dragon ascending from Fudo-ga-pond in 718, when the Indian high priest Zenmui Sanzo prayed for national peace at Mt. Kurikara at the request of Emperor Gensho. In 812, Kobo Daishi is said to have dedicated the temple to Fudo. The temple grounds have an excellent view, and the seasonal changes in nature such as double-flowered cherry blossoms, azaleas, and autumn leaves soothe the soul.
